Web poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, arcs back in fact a bit farther than its TV scores. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not in reality poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of these games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to blackjack than traditional poker, in that the players wager against the dealer rather than each other. The winning hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no concealment or other kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier saying "No further bets." At that point, both you and the casino and of course every one of the other gamblers acquire five cards. After you have looked at your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call wager or bow out. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning ante, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Surrendering means that your wager goes directly to the house. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the dealer does not have ace/king or greater, your bet is returned, with an amount equal to the original bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the casino’s hand. The house pays out money even with your ante and fixed odds on your call bet. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • two to one for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • five to one for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • 20-1 for a four of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • 100-1 for a royal flush
