Double-hand Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the wild west in a wonderful game for starting players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player versus the croupier, not like almost all other poker games that players wager with other players. By wagering against the dealer, beginner players don’t have to fret about any other, more skillful gamblers winning their mulla.
Another Pai Gow edge is the fairly leisurely game pace, newcomers are able to take their time and plan without having to make hasty decisions.
It’s also much simpler to enjoy for a long time with basically a little bit of cash since, to lose, each of your hands needs to be under each of the casino’s hands.
Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the normal 52-card common deck and one joker. The player is given seven cards faces showing and the casino is given 7 cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand must be made from the 7 cards dealt, the 5 card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the houses.
