Online poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. The games universal appeal, though, arcs back in reality a bit further than its television scores. Over the years several variants on the first poker game have been developed, including some games that are not really poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely affiliated with chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the bank rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the long-standing poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of concealment. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up just before the dealer broadcasting "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers attain five cards. After you have seen your hand and the casino’s initial card, you must either make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s value is on same level to your beginning ante, meaning that the stakes will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your wager goes instantaneously to the bank. After the bet comes the conclusion. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, plus an amount in accordance with the initial bet. If the dealer has a hand with ace/king or greater, you win if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The house pays out money equal to your ante and set odds on your call wager. These odds are:

  • Even for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for 2 pairs
  • three to one for 3 of a kind
  • 4-1 for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • seven to one for a full house
  • 20-1 for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
