Web poker has become world acclaimed lately, with televised competitions and celebrity poker game shows. The games popularity, though, arcs back quite a bit further than its TV scores. Over the years many variations on the original poker game have been created, including a handful of games that are not quite poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is more closely related to 21 than traditional poker, in that the gamblers wager against the dealer rather than the other players. The winning hands, are the established poker hands. There is little bluffing or other types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to pay up prior to the dealer broadcasting "No more wagers." At that instance, both you and the bank and of course every one of the different gamblers are given 5 cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s first card, you need to in turn make a call bet or accede. The call bet’s value is equal to your beginning wager, indicating that the risks will have increased two fold. Bowing out means that your ante goes directly to the casino. After the wager comes the conclusion. If the casino does not have ace/king or better, your wager is returned, plus a sum on par with the initial wager. If the casino does have ace/king or better, you succeed if your hand defeats the bank’s hand. The dealer pays out chips equal to your wager and set expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:

  • Equal for a pair or high card
  • 2-1 for two pairs
  • 3-1 for 3 of a kind
  • four to one for a straight
  • 5-1 for a flush
  • 7-1 for a full house
  • twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
  • 50-1 for a straight flush
  • one hundred to one for a royal flush
