Pai Gow Poker is a modern game with ancient ancestry. Founded on the ancient Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the east with the west in a fantastic game for new players.
Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the gambler versus the dealer, not like nearly all other poker games that gamblers play with other players. By betting against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more advanced gamblers winning their money.
Another Pai Gow edge is the relatively slow game play, rookies can take their time and scheme without having to make quick selections.
It is also simpler to bet on for a long time with only a little bit of cash seeing as, to lose, both of your hands needs to be lower than each of the houses hands.
Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card standard deck and a single joker. The gambler is assigned seven cards faces showing and the croupier receives seven cards face down.
One five card hand and one two card hand have to be put together from the 7 cards dealt, the five card hand must be higher than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the dealer’s.
