As I waited for my turn to be called at the live tables, I observed how the other people around the PokerPro tables relate with one another. It was pretty intriguing to say the least. Since the poker table was computer controlled, there had been no clay poker chips to do any chip tips, no cards to shuffle and the real live encounter was boring. Maybe I was the only one that recognized this, except I did observe the gamblers in the table had a dull quality to them. The reason for this may be since there was no human discussion with the croupier, the environment was relatively boring and the players looked weary. It was nearly as if I was viewing a live variation of an internet texas hold’em poker room rather than sitting with hot bodied humans. It was a little bit freaky and I continued to have flash backs to a show of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.
Since the waiting time for the are living tables was over an hour, I made a decision to observe how the game action was and to experience this new texas hold’em poker gaming technologies. After betting a couple of hands, I really felt like I was betting at house. The lack of activity on the table was the main reason. I like to stack and shuffle my chips, and mix my cards about. None of those things are feasible at these electronic tables.
An additional thing I discovered was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a good deal of hands on the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a lot like a web based hold em poker site. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to become quite odd.
Right after betting a few rounds with this "new hold’em poker technology", I made a decision that the PokerPro tables have been not for me. I’m far better off betting holdem poker on the net at residence and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling establishment have been to receive rid of the live poker tables, I think they’d loose a whole lot of players.
